PROFILE & HISTORY
A.M.C.S. College is a composite college with +2 and +3 streams. The institution was established in 1989 and imparts teaching in Arts and Science. The college is affiliated to CHSE (0), Bhubaneswar and Berhampur University.
The college is having 1376 students at present. Total no. of teaching staff & non-teaching staff members are rendering their service for institution. Staff members are cooperative, sincere and dedicated.
The college is co-educational institution and most of the student belong to ST & SC category.
60% students are girls. Most of the students are coming from the remote areas. The college is disciplined and is having a good academic record.
Cultural activities of the institution is up to the mark and render the social service for the locality. The college conducts the +2 & +3 examination smoothly & systematically. The results of different streams are satisfactory. It is well communicated by bus service from Berhampur, Bhanjangar, G. Udayagiri, Raika, Phulabani and Bhubaneswar.
The college is surrounded by the green hills in one side and floating river on the other side. So students are enjoying the beautiful campus. A greater cooperation is always extended from all corners for the all-round developments of the institution. Public as well as the official visits and inspections of the college has made it dynamic and progressive in nature.
The Sub-Collector, Balliguda has assumed the charge of the president of Governing body as per letter no. 3784 dt. 24.01.2020, Higher Education, Govt. of Odisha.
We hope the institution will ensure its Academic excellence and developments with the cooperation of all concerned by providing good governance, skilled management along with the dedication and sincerity of the staff members and students of our beloved institution on public interest.
